Wer wir sind

The Art Lookout ist eine  kuratierte Plattform für zeitgenössische Kunst mit Fokus auf female Artists. Wir arbeiten mit Künstlerinnen, die am Anfang stehen oder bereits sichtbar sind.

Jeden Monat zeigen wir eine wechselnde, klar fokussierte Kollektion mit ausgewählten Arbeiten aus unserem Netzwerk. Die Präsentation ist ruhig, editorial gedacht und gibt den Werken Raum, ohne visuelles Rauschen.

Unser Ziel ist es, Kunst sichtbar zu machen, faire Bedingungen zu schaffen und nachhaltige Verbindungen zwischen Künstlerinnen und Sammlerinnen aufzubauen. The Art Lookout versteht sich nicht nur als Verkaufsplattform, sondern als wachsendes Netzwerk, das von den Künstlerinnen selbst gestaltet wird. 

Was uns wichtig ist

Wir glauben an Zusammenarbeit statt Konkurrenz. An langfristige Beziehungen statt einmaliger Aufmerksamkeit. Und daran, dass Künstlerinnen sich gegenseitig stärken können.

The Art Lookout ist ein Projekt von Künstlerinnen – für Künstlerinnen. 

Warum mitmachen?

  • Sichtbarkeit: Deine Arbeiten werden in einer kuratierten Monatskollektion online präsentiert. Statt endlosem Scrollen gibt es einen konzentrierten Rahmen, der deine Arbeit ernst nimmt und sichtbar macht.
  • Community & Austausch: TAL ist mehr als ein Online-Shop – es ist ein Ort, an dem sich Künstlerinnen und Sammlerinnen begegnen. Über Kollektionen, Social Media und den TAL Club schaffen wir Verbindungen, teilen Einblicke und fördern Gespräche über Kunst, Prozesse und Ideen.
  • Direkter Verkauf: Wir übernehmen Präsentation, Kommunikation und Verkauf, damit du dich auf deine Arbeit konzentrieren kannst.
  • Faire Bedingungen: Du erhältst den Großteil des Verkaufspreises direkt, der Shop behält 15 – 30 % für Organisation und Plattformpflege. (*15% für Leute, die Lust haben mitzuhelfen in Bereichen wie Instagram, Website Archiv, oder Kommunikation)

    • Standard: TAL-Provision 30% (Kuration, Shop, Kommunikation)

    • Mitmach-Modell: TAL-Provision 15% (wenn du bei IG/Archiv/Kommunikation unterstützten magst)

So läuft es ab

  • Auswahl & Kuration: Wir kuratieren jeden Monat eine kleine Auswahl an Werken. Wenn deine Arbeiten in die Kollektion passen, stimmen wir Details gemeinsam ab.
  • Präsentation im Shop: Jedes Werk wird sorgfältig online gestellt und ist für einen Monat zum Verkauf verfügbar.
  • Kommunikation: Wir zeigen deine Arbeiten über Website, Newsletter und Social Media – inklusive Hintergrundgeschichten und Einblicken in deinen Prozess.
  • Verkauf & Abwicklung: TAL kümmert sich um Bestellungen, Zahlungsabwicklung. Wir überweisen dir innerhalb von 2 Wochen deinen Anteil.
  • Du verpackst und versendest direkt aus deinem Atelier.
  • Du erhälst die Kontaktdaten von deiner Käuferin und stellst deine Rechnung aus. 

Was wir von dir brauchen

  • Auswahl verfügbarer Werke (wir wählen ca. 5 für den Shop aus)

  • gute Fotos deiner Arbeiten

  • Werkangaben: Titel, Jahr, Technik, Maße, Preis

  • Deine Bio + 1–2 Sätze zu deiner aktuellen Arbeit

  • Optional: Prozessmaterial für Stories

Preise & Fairness

Wir stehen für transparente, faire Vereinbarungen. Je nach Modell gehen 15–30 % des Verkaufspreises an TAL, um Organisation, Kommunikation und Pflege der Plattform zu decken. Der Rest geht direkt an dich.

Who we are

The Art Lookout is a curated platform for contemporary art with a focus on female artists. We work with artists who are at the beginning of their practice as well as those who are already visible and established in their field.

Each month, we present a changing, clearly focused collection featuring selected works from our network. The presentation is calm and editorial in approach, giving space to the works without visual noise.

Our aim is to make art visible, create fair conditions, and build lasting connections between artists and collectors. The Art Lookout is not only a sales platform, but a growing, artist-run network shaped by the artists themselves.

What matters to us

We believe in collaboration instead of competition.
In long-term relationships rather than one-time attention.
And in the idea that artists can support and strengthen each other.

Why collaborate?

  • Visibility: Your work will be shown in a curated monthly collection – clear, focused, without visual noise.
  • Community & exchange: TAL is more than an online shop – it’s a place where artists and collectors connect. Through collections, social media, and the TAL Club, we create connections, share insights, and encourage conversations about art, process, and ideas.
  • Direct sales: We take care of presentation, communication, and sales, so you can focus on your work.
  • Fair conditions: You receive the majority of the sales price directly; we retain only 15–30% for organisation and platform maintenance. (*15% if you want to help with tasks like instagram postings, website archive or communication)

How it works

  • Selection & curation: Each month we curate a small selection of works. If your work fits the collection, we discuss all details together.
  • Presentation in the shop: Each work is carefully presented and published in the online shop and will be for sale for one month.
  • Communication: We share your work via our website, newsletter and social media – including background stories and insights into your process.
  • Sales & handling: TAL takes care of orders and payment processing. Your share is transferred within two weeks.
  • Shipping: You pack and ship the work directly from your studio.
  • Invoice: You receive the buyer’s contact details and issue the invoice yourself.

What we need from you

  • A selection of available works
    (we usually select around 5 works for the shop)
  • High-quality images of your work
  • Work details: title, year, medium, dimensions, price
  • Your bio + 1–2 sentences about your current practice
  • Optional: process material for stories

Pricing & fairness

We stand for transparent, fair agreements. Depending on the model, 15–30% of the sales price remains with TAL to cover organisation, communication, and platform maintenance. The rest goes directly to you.
